Kehua AI Signs Ginkgo Industry Technology Partnership with Linyi City
On 30 December 2024, Dr. Zhang Xiaolong—Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Research Institute at Northwest A&F University and Chairman of Kehua AI—was invited to Linyi City to sign a strategic cooperation agreement on ginkgo industry technology.
Following several rounds of on-site assessments throughout 2024, both parties agreed to pursue comprehensive collaboration. Tancheng County in Linyi is celebrated as “China’s Ginkgo Capital,” boasting a 3,000-year-old ginkgo tree, over 300,000 mu of plantations, and supplying roughly 70% of the nation’s ginkgo seedlings—an unparalleled foundation for building a world-class ginkgo industry hub.
The partnership will: (1) establish stress-induction techniques and quality standards for cultivating ginkgo leaves and nuts enriched with active constituents; (2) develop green, high-efficiency extraction processes and standards for ginkgo flavonoids and terpene lactones; and (3) conduct systematic studies on trace and rare ginkgo actives to enable innovative drug development.
